Focus Group Marketing

Turning your "people skills" into                     cash as a Focus Group Recruiter

If you have a knack for talking to people you may have the makings of a Focus Group Recruiter. Companies that do market research are looking for people ( i.e: recruiters ) to round up folks to participate in their "focus group" surveys. These focus group surveys gather and evaluate the thoughts, opinions and attitudes of consumers

to their new products and services.

Pied piper needed! If you have an engaging personality and the ability to talk to and motivate people -you may have a lucrative career awaiting you ( -as a Focus Group Recruiter ). Recruiters can earn from

$3,000 to $4,500 a month working

part time.

Leveraging Contacts and Matching "Demographics"

If you have lots of local friends, acquaintances and relatives ( -or have a sizable social media following locally ), you'll be in a great position to leverage this as a Focus Group Recruiter. Using your current e-mail/ social media contact list ( -or building it up over time ), you can ask your followers if they'd like to earn some extra money participating in your "focus group" opportunities. In today's economy -who's NOT looking for an easy way to make some extra money!

The companies hiring you will provide you with information on their surveys.                 This info will include the "demographic groups" they need for the survey along         with a questionnaire. Your job will be to "match-up" the right people for the survey.       You do this by conducting phone interviews with those who've responded to your       e-mail -simply asking them the questions the company has provided in order to  determine if they're a good "fit" for the focus group.

"Focus group" surveys provide companies         with valuable marketing data. By knowing           the attitudes, opinions and preferences of             the consumers they serve companies can optimize their products, services and mar-

keting approaches for maximum impact

and profitability.

Building your Database and Profits!

By compiling a "contact list"( -of those who've expressed an interest in participating     in your "focus group" opportunities ) you can periodically send these people e-mails describing your latest "focus group" opportunities. As well, you can post your notices on your social media pages or even on local supermarket bulletin boards. Naturally, the larger your contact list,  the greater your "money -making potential" ( -as these companies generally pay recruiters from $30.00 - $ 60.00 per screened and qualified "focus group" participant  ).

Here's an idea: Convert your "gift of gab" and "people skills" into a lucrative part time job! Contact the "marketing research" firms in your   area.  Ask them if they're hiring "recruiters". Then, leverage your "contact list" into cash             ( -while helping your friends and social-media pals earn extra part time money! ).

Getting your "Foot in the Door"

So, HOW do you get into this line of work? Get out your Yellow Pages ( -or use online Yellow Pages ) and track down the numbers for the "market research firms" in your area. Call them up and ask if they're hiring "recruiters". Sell yourself!  If you have an extensive e-mail or social media contact list ( -all potential "focus group participants" ) mention that fact. If you have previous marketing research experience -mention that fact as well. The more contacts and experience you can bring them the better!

This job offers you flexibility ( -in terms of working hours ) and the chance to put your "gift of gab" and "people skills" to work. With a healthy contact list ( -of from 1,000 to 1,500 "contacts" ) and an investment of from 30 -35 hours per week of your time -you can reasonably expect to make from $3,000  -$4,500 a month. That's not bad part time money! If this appeals to you -give it a shot!
